Lladró - Llorens Alfredo - Sculpture, Scultura Guerriero Samurai - 60 cm - Porcelain

Porcelain figure of a Samurai warrior in black stoneware with blue enamels and earth tones, with a steel katana.
Lladró drew inspiration from premodern Japanese warriors to create an imposing sculpture that expresses all the qualities typical of these warriors: restraint and strength. The Samurai Warrior is made of stoneware, an ideal material for large creations decorated with enamels. These pigments, crystallized in the kiln, acquire a myriad of different shades in each piece, so that every figure is unique and unrepeatable. The finishing touches are the ornaments on the armor, the helmet, and the skirt, hand-engraved.
Height 60 cm.
