Excellent reproduction by Kato of the VT 04-501 diesel-hydraulic railcar.
These two-car trains were built in 1935-36 in thirteen examples, and with their speed of 160 km/h they were regarded as the fastest trains in the world.
They connected Berlin with the major cities of Germany. It appears that only three have been preserved.
This unit has always been on display and, once tested, operates very well.
The white/red front lights switch on depending on the direction of travel. Extras to mount.

 Ottima riproduzione della Kato del treno automotore diesel a trasmissione idraulica VT 04-501.
  Questi treni in due elementi furono costruiti nel 1935-36 in tredici esemplari, e con la loro velocità di 160 Km/h furono considerati i treni più veloci del mondo.
  Collegarono Berlino con le città più importanti della Germania. Sembra ne siano stati preservati solo tre.
  Questo esemplare è sempre stato in vetrina e, testato, funziona molto bene. 
  Le luci frontali bianco/rosse si accendono secondo la direzine di marcia. Aggiuntivi da montare.
