Handmade Kashmiri Chain Stitch Rug - Omar Khayyam Pictorial Tapestry
Hand-stitched vintage rug / wall hanging with fringes.
Classical depiction of the Persian poet Omar Khayyam (1048–1131) with his muse (Saki).
In the center lies the embroidered name „عمر خیام“.
At the top edge are decorative Persian verses woven.
100% handmade in fine, dense chain stitch embroidery (Chain Stitch).
