Boch Frères La Louvière earthenware vase in the Shanghai décor, made during the Raymond Chevalier era (1930–1940), with brown and gilded bands on the neck and pedestal, turquoise interior glaze, two small gilded ring handles, and dimensions of 20 cm high, 18 cm wide (incl. handles), neck Ø 15 cm, base Ø 8.5 cm, weight 750 g, in good overall condition with very light signs of age wear.

This earthenware vase is a production from the famous Belgian manufacturer Boch Frères La Louvière, made during the artistic direction period of Raymond Chevalier. This piece features the decoration named Shanghai, characterized by polychrome floral motifs in pink, mauve and blue tones enhanced with gilded foliage, matching a neck and a pedestal base with brown and gilded bands. The inside of the neck features a contrasting turquoise glaze. The object is equipped with two small gilded ring side handles. The base bears the official brown stamped mark of the manufacture as well as the decoration number 16 hand-painted in black. The dimensions of this vase include a height of 20 centimeters, a neck diameter of 15 centimeters, a total width of 18 centimeters including handles, and a base foot diameter of 8.5 centimeters. Its individual weight is 750 grams. Regarding its condition of conservation, the vase is in overall good condition and shows signs of its age through very, very light normal wear due to age.
