Up for auction, a rare and exceptional set of 6 tasting glasses in the finest crystal, made by the famous Cre Art Italia manufactory, active since 1963 in creating art pieces for the table.
What makes this model unique is the magnificent chromatic contrast of the base, crafted in an elegant and very warm amber/honey tone with a camouflaged effect and finished with an external filet, an impactful element that reflects warm glows along the stem and the bowl.
The silhouette is of exceptional refinement: a tall, slender cup with a soft line that accommodates delicate twisted ribbing at the base, topped by a substantial high-relief band embroidered in 24-karat Pure Gold, pantograph-engraved with Renaissance volutes and completed by a delicate lower lace motif.
The thin, tapering stem ensures perfect balance and extreme formal elegance.
The glasses measure 20.5 cm in height, 8.2 cm diameter at the rim, and 6.7 cm diameter at the base. The set is presented in impeccably preserved condition, as good as new, never used and kept on display, with intact gilding, crystal that is crystal-clear, and flawless resonance.
