Description from the seller
Original vintage T.N.Nomura - Harley Davidson - Japan 1959. Tin friction motorbike from the renowned manufacturer Tomura Toys from Japan. Dated 1959 by the original lithographic number plate on the rear fender. Executed in a deep black base with green/blue stripes and gold piping. The tank is on both sides provided with the official classic HD logo. On the left side the well-known diamond-shaped TN Made in Japan logo crisply stamped into the metalwork.
This model features a mechanism in which the internal 3 pistons move up and down visibly when the friction motor is put into motion by pushing the HD. (see photos with two different positions of the pistons).
There are sturdy original rubber tread tires.
The handlebars, the delicate levers and the original black handlebar grips are fully present and undamaged. The paint (lithography) has preserved its deep gloss beautifully over the years with only minimal characteristic signs of aging. No large dents or noticeable rust spots. Unfortunately, the front headlight is missing.
