Christofle is a French silversmith and tableware company, founded in Paris in 1830 by Charles Christofle.

The company is known for introducing electroplating gilding and silvering in France in 1842. The firm was acquired in 2012 by one of its shareholders, the Chalhoub family luxury group.

The House of Christofle relies on entirely hand-made production according to traditional techniques. The precious crafts of turning and repoussé, planishing, chasing, and engraving, carried on by its Master Goldsmiths and Best Craftsmen of France, immortalize the qualities of elegance and excellence of all Christofle pieces. This irreplaceable human know-how is upheld by highly skilled artisans.
