Two vintage industrial pendant lamps in black enameled iron with a white interior, made in Italy in the 1940s–1950s, in good used condition with minor signs of age, in working order, each 35 cm wide, 35 cm deep, and 30 cm high, weighing 955 g, with one fitting and including a gilded bulb and a white ceramic holder.
Description from the seller
Stunning vintage industrial pendant lamp dating from the 1940s, commonly referred to as a “factory lamp.” It is made of enameled iron (black on the outside), with a reflective white interior finish, the typical texture used to maximize brightness in factories.
Highly sought-after as a design element for interiors in industrial chic style.
It retains its original top hook cord grip and the classic white ceramic lampholder. (The ceramic lampholder is detached from its base cap, but this does not affect operation; it comfortably houses the bulb and presents no handling issues.)
It has been deliberately left in “first patina,” i.e., original and raw in every detail (for safety only a rust inhibitor was applied), subsequently polished and wired to a portable setup to demonstrate proper operation and the irradiation of light with this wonderful bulb, a large vintage gold bulb protruding from the shade, a perfectly balanced duo that harmonizes colors and the aesthetic context. Bulb included in the sale.
