Unbranded folding hand model stereoviewer (Holmes type), tested and working, in very good condition, dating to circa 1900–1910.

A beautiful and authentic antique wooden hand stereoscope (Holmes type) is offered, dating from the late 19th century or the early 20th century. This classic optical instrument offers a fascinating glimpse into the history of 3D photography. The stereoscope is made of warm, atmospheric wood and features two original glass lenses mounted in round wooden frames. On the back is the metal card holder in which the stereo photographs (stereoviews) can be placed. Thanks to the fold-out or removable handle at the bottom, the instrument sits comfortably in the hand while viewing. A stunning collectible for lovers of antique photography and optics!
