Description from the seller

Toni Zuccheri for VeArt – Large vase “Membrane” – Venice, 1970s
Important glass sculpture vase in transparent VeArt glass by Toni Zuccheri (1937–2008), from the “Membrane” series, made for the Venetian manufacturing company VeArt.
Production: VeArt, Scorzè – Venice, Italy
Designer: Toni Zuccheri
Series: Membrane
Era: circa 1970 / 1970s
Material: thick transparent glass worked hot
Height: about 39 cm
’original silver label “VeArt – Scorzè, Venice (Italy)”
The glass forms membranes, cavities and organic reliefs, creating optical effects that vary depending on light and viewing angle.
A strongly representative work of Toni Zuccheri, one of the most original protagonists of Venetian glass design in the second half of the 20th century, who experimented with organic and plastic forms, turning glass into a true sculptural material.
Particularly interesting is the presence of the historic VeArt label from Scorzè (Venice), still applied to the vase.
