Elegant truncated-cone goblet in 800 silver, of Italian manufacture. The body is smooth, with the upper rim accentuated by a fluted moulding and a shaped stepped base. The interior is vermeil gold over silver. A classic, sober form, suitable as a collectible goblet, cutlery holder, desk pen holder, or small cachepot.

Georgian neoclassical style

Stamps: 800 fineness mark in an oval and an Italian identification mark with a lozenge-shaped star (post-1968), [No. 25 AL].

Measurements: height 10 cm, base diameter 10 cm, rim diameter 10.5 cm.

Weight: 273 g.

Condition: good. Shows normal signs of use and superficial scratches consistent with age, without significant dents. Not polished, to preserve the original patina.

The zig-zag mark between the two hallmarks is a 'bulino assay': the assayer scraped off a bit of metal to verify the fineness. It confirms that the piece has been checked as true silver.

Elegante bicchiere a tronco di cono in argento 800, di manifattura italiana. Il corpo è liscio, con bordo superiore sottolineato da una modanatura a filetti e base a gradini sagomata. L'interno è dorato argento vermeil. Una forma classica e sobria, adatta come bicchiere da collezione, porta-posate, portapenne o piccolo cachepot.

Condizioni: buone. Presenta normali segni d'uso e graffi superficiali compatibili con l'età, senza ammaccature rilevanti. Non lucidato, così da preservare la patina originale.

Il segno a zig-zag tra i due punzoni è un "saggio a bulino": il saggiatore grattava via un po' di metallo per verificare il titolo. Conferma che il pezzo è stato controllato come argento vero.
