Church palm door - Brass - 1850-1900

Altarpiece vase for palm fronds in brass, shaped like an amphora. It rests on a circular baluster foot that mounts onto a square plinth base. The side handles are shaped into a flared geometric volute, while the upper opening serves as the shaft for housing the liturgical palms.

Overall good condition despite its age; there are nonetheless marks on the metal and patina that reveal its age.
