Il Quadrifoglio, Florence – 8-piece service "Ricette italiane" – Hand-painted ceramic – 1950s

Rare 8-piece service from the Florentine manufacturer Il Quadrifoglio, active in Florence from 1955 to the 1960s and known among international collectors as "The Flower Painter". The decor is hand-done with the typical "pastel" technique, featuring ironic and stylized female figures in the style of Milvia, the main designer of the manufactory.

The set includes:

• 1 rectangular tray with the handwritten recipe for "Spaghetti alla carbonara"
• 6 square plates: spaghetti alla carbonara (x2), Fiorentina steak, pizza, grilled chicken, Livorno-style cacciucco, poached eggs
• 1 compartmental breakfast tray "fresh egg / butter" with painted cutlery

The mark with the clover and the inscription "Il Quadrifoglio – ITALY" is impressed on the back. A monogram "M" is hand-painted. Condition: good, with normal signs of use compatible with the era [specify any chipping]. Measurements: [insert].
