Description from the seller

The first image is AI-enhanced to better showcase the design against a neutral background. Please rely only on the following original photos for the item’s true condition.

Dinner service for 33 pieces of Limoges porcelain, produced by the Manufactures de La Châtres-sur-Cher and Louis Lourioux. Circa 1950.

The pieces of this service are adorned with a motif of wheat ears, and decorated on their rims and protruding parts with fine gold applied by hand.

This service is composed of the following pieces:

- 11 deep plates, each measuring 22 cm in diameter.

- 11 flat plates, each measuring 23 cm in diameter.

- 7 dessert plates, each measuring 17.4 cm in diameter.

- 1 salad bowl, measuring 24.8 cm in diameter at the rim; and 9.3 cm deep.

- 1 tureen, measuring 25.3 cm in diameter at the rim; 8.9 cm deep; and 14.3 cm high up to the tip of the lid’s knop.

- 1 serving plate, measuring 29 cm in diameter; and 5 cm deep.

- 1 serving plate, measuring 29 cm in diameter; and 4.2 cm deep.

Overall it is in excellent condition as evidenced by the photos. One note: a hairline visible on the reverse of a dessert plate, and a discreet millimeter-scale wear of the gold decoration on the border of 3 deep plates and 3 flat plates, not affecting the overall appearance of the pieces.

Protected and carefully shipped worldwide.
For obvious reasons, the pieces will be distributed for shipment across 3 well-packaged parcels.
