Yashica FR camera body with two lenses (DSB 50mm f/1.9 and 135mm f/2.8) and a winder, tested and working.
Description from the seller
Yashica FR + 2 lenses + Winder
The Yashica FR is a solid mainly mechanical SLR from the early 80s. This is a used unit with hardly any signs of wear and fully functional. The body operates as it should and still looks decent, only the underside shows it isn’t new. The camera has been functionally tested but not with film. The lens mount is of the Contax/Yashica type, which also allows Zeiss lenses with a C/Y mount to be used!
The shutter runs well and promptly with speeds from B, 1 second to 1/1000, and 1/60 for the flash. The control wheel for shutter speeds also works normally, albeit a bit stiff. Film transport and rewind operate smoothly without hiccups. The viewfinder is bright with a small speck of dust; focusing is easy and quick. The light meter is in order, the readings are clearly visible in the viewfinder. Setting the film speed is also fine. The depth-of-field button works.
The flash function at 1/60 sec works and the self-timer is also in order. Comes with a body cap and battery. The battery test button works. The battery is needed for the light meter and the electronic shutter release.
The lens is a matching Yashica DSB 50mm 1:1.9 made in Japan. The diaphragm is clean and the glass is clear, only at the edge of an inner element there is some mold, but you won’t see it in the images. The diaphragm ring and the focus operate normally. Reading the aperture in the viewfinder does not show the correct values for this lens. Comes with an original front cap.
The second lens is a matching Yashica DSB 135mm 1:2.8 made in Japan. The diaphragm is clean and the glass is clear; there is no mold or haze. The diaphragm ring and focus operate normally. Reading the aperture in the viewfinder shows no deviation; the values are correct. The markings on the aperture numbers are somewhat faded. The lens comes with 2 lens caps, the front cap is original.
The original Yashica winder is in nice condition and apparently little used. It runs on 6 AA batteries (not included) and has been tested. It works perfectly and delivers about 2 to 3 frames per second.
All of this goes in a neat red-brown plastic bag, with room for accessories. All in all a decent, solid combination ready for use.
