Christofle is a French silversmith and tableware company, founded in Paris in 1830 by Charles Christofle.

The company is known for introducing electrolytic gilding and silver plating in France in 1842. The firm was acquired in 2012 by one of its shareholders, the Chalhoub family luxury group.

The House of Christofle relies on fully handmade production carried out according to traditional techniques. The precious crafts of turning and repoussé, planishing, chasing, and engraving, which are maintained by its Master Silversmiths and Meilleurs Ouvriers de France, immortalize the qualities of elegance and excellence of all Christofle pieces. This irreplaceable human know-how is perpetuated by highly skilled artisans.
