Richard Mosse - Incoming - 2017

First edition of Richard Mosse’s Incoming, published by MACK in 2017.

One of Mosse’s most significant photobooks, Incoming documents the journeys of refugees and migrants across the Middle East, North Africa and Europe using a military-grade thermal surveillance camera. Rather than recording conventional visible light, the technology registers differences in heat, rendering people, landscapes and events as ghostly monochrome forms.
