Description from the seller

Rare and splendid monocular SLR Klein-Mentor camera (6.5 X 9 cm) manufactured in Dresden by Goltz & Breutmann around 1914. Historical export version, fitted with a legendary Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar lens from 1909.

It is an export version, due to the shutter plate in English "Shutter - Speeds", designed to be the compact and portable version of the large studio reflex cameras of the era.

Serial number on the body: 19992

Lens: Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 13.5 cm (135 mm) f/6.3 with serial number 122767. Glasses clear, with no fungi or perceptible scratches.

Mechanism: functional, however, as I show in the image, on the right side the piece where the shutter mechanism sits is detaching. I show both sides to give the sense.

The curtain needs adjustment, as it does not close fully after firing. It has two images with it fully closed and another not fully closed.

Aesthetically with the patina of time and some natural wear, but still preserving its original state.

As this is a historical item over a century old, it is sold as a collectible/display item, with no guarantee of the temporal precision of the shutter speeds.
