A major photobook by American photographer Mark Steinmetz, bringing together photographs made at summer camps in Illinois, North Carolina and Georgia between the mid-1980s and late 1990s. Steinmetz focuses on children at the transitional age between childhood and adolescence, capturing moments of uncertainty, friendship, separation and introspection in his distinctive black-and-white documentary style.
This copy is in good to very good used condition. Interior pages and photographic plates are clean and the binding is sound. There is some light external handling wear and corner compression, together with several small dark spots to the exposed page edges/text block, all shown in the photographs.
