• Title input: Via the remote control of the main unit you can enter album and track names, which then roll across the motorized pop-up display of the XC-L5.
• ASES (Auto Synchro Editing System): This system ensures the MiniDisc recorder starts recording in sync as soon as the XC-L5’s CD player begins to play.
• Built-in Sampling Rate Converter: This allows the deck to effortlessly convert digital signals from other sources (such as a DAT recorder or digital radio with a different frequency, for example 32 kHz or 48 kHz) to the standard 44.1 kHz of MiniDisc.

Connections & System Requirements;

• No separate power cable: The MJ-L5 derives its power and analog audio signals directly from the XC-L5 receiver via a wide, proprietary system ribbon cable. Without the XC-L5 receiver (or a comparable set such as the XC-L7) the device will not power up.
• Optical input: The deck has a TOSLINK optical digital input at the rear. This lets you run an optical cable from the CD receiver to make bit-perfect digital recordings.
