AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
A striking classical-style decorative bust depicting a bearded male figure with thick, deeply carved curly hair, expressive facial features and a slightly upward-turned head. The dramatic modelling of the face and hair gives the piece a strong Greco-Roman sculptural character, reminiscent of classical Hellenistic statuary.
The bust is presented on a rounded pedestal base and finished in a matte white / ivory tone, creating the appearance of carved marble. The torso is intentionally simplified and partially truncated, allowing the highly detailed head and facial expression to remain the main visual focus.
The sculpture appears to be made from cast resin, plaster composite or artificial stone, rather than natural marble. It would work well as a decorative art object for a study, living room, bookshelf, office or classical-inspired interior.
