Description from the seller
Large vase with lid Delft Blue – tin-glazed maiolica hand-painted – H 39 cm – 20th century.
Important decorative vase in tin-glazed maiolica finely glazed and hand-painted, realized in the style of the famous Delft ceramics. The work stands out for the refined blue decoration on a white background and for the balanced ornamental composition, enriched by elegant floral motifs and by a central reserve depicting a suggestive landscape scene in a Dutch taste.
A striking focal element is the original lid, topped by a full-round parrot sculpture, which gives the piece a strong decorative presence and a remarkable aesthetic value.
On the base are the model number “670” and a blue hand-painted mark. The surface shows a fine, uniform glaze crackle, coherent with the type and with the natural aging of the piece.
Dimensions
* Height: about 39 cm
Conditions
The item presents in excellent overall condition, intact and free of breaks or restorations on the main body, which fully preserves its decorative impact and aesthetic quality.
Only a blemish on the lid is noted, which is damaged and subsequently glued. The restoration is visible but stable and does not compromise the overall beauty of the object.
The photographs are an integral part of the description and clearly and transparently show every detail.
Shipping
Professional shipping via DHL courier, with extremely careful packaging and reinforcement for fragile objects. The shipment will be fully insured for the final bid value, ensuring maximum safety and peace of mind for the buyer.
