The size is 48 cm height and 36 cm wide.
Large hand-sculpted terracotta figure of a two-humped Bactrian camel,Tang Dynaty
c 618-907 AD.
Camel posture with raised neck and open mouth,symbolizing silk road prosperity.
Two distinct bumps, powerful body and rectangular base. Traces of originals pigments remains .
Come from Dunluang region, province of the Gansu .R.P of China.
Thermoluminescence TL test repport by QED laboratory ,Aix en provence, FRance. Original invoice seen by Catawiki.
Repport confirming the firing date consistent with Tang dysnasty. Good condition for Tang pottery, stable structure .
