Val Saint Lambert (attributed) – Set of 6 Hand-Blown Glass Champagne Coupes – Belle Époque – Belgium – ca. 1900

An elegant set of six antique champagne coupes, attributed to the renowned Belgian crystal manufacturer Val Saint Lambert, dating from around 1900, during the refined Belle Époque period.

Each coupe was individually mouth-blown and carefully hand-finished, resulting in the subtle variations in size and shape that are characteristic of traditional craftsmanship. The bowls are decorated with a finely hand-cut band of elongated oval motifs that beautifully capture and reflect the light, while the graceful baluster stems and broad circular feet create an elegant and timeless silhouette.

The exceptional quality of the glass, together with the refined proportions and meticulous hand-finishing, reflects the craftsmanship for which Belgian glass became internationally renowned during the Belle Époque. Although no documented catalogue model has been identified with certainty, these glasses are fully representative of the luxurious tableware produced around the turn of the twentieth century.

Originally intended for serving champagne, these coupes are equally suitable today for sparkling wine, cocktails or elegant desserts, entrees while also making a sophisticated addition to both classic and contemporary table settings.
