AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Very beautiful Biedermeier secretary desk from Denmark - Nordic Biedermeier, ca. 1840. Well preserved. Shellac-polished some time ago, small, age-related blemishes, rather unobtrusive.
Wood: mahogany, in the family for 40 years. Acquired from a Lübeck antique shop.
Then price 5000 DM……
It is a pity that these handcraft-style pieces are subject to such devaluation.
The piece looks good as a standalone item in any modern apartment.
Unfortunately for lack of space, for sale.
Dimensions: 121 cm wide, 57 cm deep and 115 cm high. The upper part is only placed on top, which eases transport.
The secretary is located in 10785 Berlin and MUST be picked up or the buyer must organize transport.
