Description from the seller

Christofle Gallia Vendôme - Silver-plated coffee pot - France - ca. 1900-1925

An elegant French silver-plated coffee pot produced by Orfèvrerie Gallia, the celebrated silverware division of Christofle. The piece belongs to the timeless Vendôme pattern, distinguished by its refined neoclassical lines, fluted borders and characteristic shell motifs inspired by Louis XVI decoration.

The underside bears the well-known Gallia ibis hallmark together with production number 0 177, confirming its manufacture by Christofle's prestigious Gallia workshops. Gallia was renowned for producing exceptionally high-quality silver-plated tableware combining durability with elegant French design.

The graceful elongated spout ensures precise pouring, while the black insulated handle provides a comfortable grip and protects against heat. Originally intended for serving coffee, this elegant pot also makes a beautiful decorative object in both classic and contemporary interiors.

The coffee pot remains in good antique condition with normal surface wear consistent with age and careful use. The handle has been professionally repaired and remains perfectly functional. Please study the photographs carefully as they form an integral part of the description.
