Description from the seller
Lot of 7 Spanish 100 Peseta coins featuring Francisco Franco, dated 1966, with stars ★19–★66.
These coins are struck in 800‰ silver. The theoretical weight is 19 g per piece, i.e., 133 g for the 7 pieces. The total weight observed for the lot is 132.6 g.
The obverse shows a portrait of Francisco Franco facing right, surrounded by the legend “FRANCISCO FRANCO CAUDILLO DE ESPAÑA POR LA G. DE DIOS”, with the date 1966 between two stars.
The reverse features the Spanish coat of arms as well as the face value 100 PTAS.
The coins are in their current state and show signs of handling, small scratches, contact marks and varying patinas. The reliefs and inscriptions remain overall clearly visible.
Some pieces show blue to bluish-green coloration more or less pronounced.
I do not know the origin of this coloration and prefer to state it clearly. No cleaning or treatment has been performed by me.
The coins are ungraded and uncertified. I am not a professional numismatist.
Identification and description have been made to the best of my research and observations.
Sold as is.
Please study the photographs carefully, which are an integral part of the description and allow assessing the condition, patinas and signs of wear of each of the 7 coins.
