Description from the seller
A distinctive vintage Gucci “Cologne Pour Homme” advertising plaque, believed to have been produced as a countertop display for a perfume retailer or department-store fragrance counter.
The plaque features classic Gucci branding, including the green-red-green web stripes, black Gucci lettering and a raised silver-tone interlocking GG emblem. Its brushed gold-tone metal finish is complemented by an integrated folding easel on the reverse, allowing it to stand independently on a counter, shelf or inside a display cabinet.
The design is associated with Gucci’s original Pour Homme fragrance era and is believed to date from the late 1970s or early 1980s. Its exact year of manufacture and original retail location are unknown.
The piece remains in fair vintage condition. It displays surface marks, natural patina, discolouration and areas of wear or loss to the black lettering. These age-related imperfections contribute to its authentic vintage appearance. Please study all photographs carefully for an accurate impression of its condition.
