Tray - Malmaison (Gallia line) - Silverplated - Christofle

A large oval serving platter by the renowned French silver producer Christofle. The platter features a sleek yet classic design with a subtle, finely worked decorative edge along the inner rim (with leaf and acorn motifs).
* Hallmarks: The edge on the underside bears all official stamps, including the text PROD. CHRISTOFLE, FRANCE and the corresponding master and quality marks.
* Origin: France.

Additional information:
The platter has been used and shows a clear discoloration/patina (tarnish) across the entire surface accumulated over the years. With a good silver polish it can likely be brought back to a bright shine, but I’ll leave that choice to the buyer. Furthermore, a sturdy and substantial heavy piece. What you see in the photos is exactly what you buy.
