Antique dental cabinet lot from France, 23 items dating to the 1950s–1960s, including artificial teeth on red supports and a large set of dental instruments; condition: excellent, barely used with minimal signs of wear.
Description from the seller
Important vintage collection from a dental office, consisting of a large number of artificial teeth formerly used for making dental prostheses, accompanied by a substantial lot of dentist instruments and accessories.
The set includes about twenty boxes and displays of prosthetic teeth in various shapes, sizes and shades.
Several items bear the markings NEW-CRYLIC / NEW CRYLIC and RAYAGO-MEGADENT, as well as a shade tab “New Light.”
The teeth are still presented on their original red holders, with their references and size or shade indications.
The lot also includes a substantial set of old metal cabinet instruments: probes, curettes, pliers, handles, grasping instruments, various accessories and supports.
The collection shows a patina and signs of use and storage consistent with its age: dust, occasional oxidation, marks, scratches and wear on the boxes and lids.
Sold as a complete set as shown in the photographs.
This set is offered as a collectible object, cabinet decoration, medical curiosity or historical equipment and not for contemporary medical or dental use.
A particularly decorative lot evocative of the history of dentistry and dental prosthetics in the 20th century.
