Description from the seller

An antique Chinese porcelain Wanli deep 'Kraak' plate, with a central decoration of a Large Jardinière filled with Peonies on Rock Landscape (this tradition is called Penzai, which the Japanese copied as Bonsai), the Panels with Buddhist and Scholars Treasures, Peaches, surrounded by motifs of waves, cash, lozenges, dots and lines, executed in an excellent and very deep layered underglaze blue and white. Handcrafted in ancient Imperial China during the Ming dynasty, Wanli period (ca. 1590-1600). On the backside a decoration of circles and lines, with a perfect unglazed foot rim. Guaranteed original and of the stated period.

On the pictures are reflections of the light used for photography and maybe some dirt visible, please note that they might look like chips/hairlines or restorations but they are not; unless mentioned below. A careful description of the condition:
The object is in excellent condition, some normal glaze fritting and a couple of tiny shallow glaze flakes. No damage to the porcelain itself, no hairlines or restorations. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
