Description from the seller
Since moving to California from his native Germany, photographer Stephan Würth has been captivated by the legendary landscapes of the American West, as well as the sense of isolation and freedom offered by the vast desert expanse.
Würth shapes this passion for places through the new series *Ghost Town*. The photographs tell the story of three women in Nevada, where they soon find themselves stranded on the roadside with a car in need of repair. Shot over seven days on Kodak Tri-X black-and-white film, the images were digitized for the book starting from manual prints in the 16 x 20-inch format, without any retouching. The volume also includes an epilogue by fashion and culture critic Lesley M. M. Blume.
