Bundle of 10 natural Burmese ambers with various fossil inclusions from the Cretaceous period.
The pieces show a varied assortment of different inclusions. Clearly visible are several fossil insects, including a distinctly visible fly (Diptera), other smaller arthropods, as well as various plant and organic inclusions.
Some pieces also contain natural resin structures, gas bubbles, dark organic detritus, and plant material. This collection offers an interesting cross-section of different inclusion types in Burmese amber.
The ambers are individually cut and polished. Different shapes, levels of transparency, and natural internal structures are present. The detail shots show a selection of the included inclusions.
