Elegant three-tier Limoges porcelain cake stand by L. Bernardaud & Cie, model “Marie-Antoinette,” made for Christofle.

This cake stand consists of three white porcelain plates with scalloped edges, outlined by a delicate gold border. Each level is adorned with grisaille pastoral scenes, in the refined spirit of the 18th century.

The reverse bears the mark L. Bernardaud & Cie – Limoges – France, with the mentions “Marie-Antoinette,” Christofle and the reference to a drawing by Huet for Queen Marie-Antoinette.

The piece is mounted on a central gilded metal frame with a decorative top handle. A matching gilded serving scoop accompanies the stand.
