AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

This Macro-Takumar Super-Multi-Coated Pentax 135mm f4 lens is a tele-macro designed for Pentax 6x7, 67 and 67II medium format SLRs.

This lens is designed as a close-focusing lens ideal for close-up portraits, flower bouquets, studio still life, and other subjects where the photographer wants to get a little closer than normal with a Pentax 67 camera. The minimum focusing distance is 75 cm (29.5 inches) and it achieves a macro reproduction ratio of 1:2.2. If life-size macro is desired, a full set of extension tubes #1, #2 and #3 should be sought. This lens also works very effectively as a moderate telephoto, where the 135 mm focal length is roughly equivalent to a 65 mm lens on full-frame 35mm cameras.

Good overall condition. The all-metal, black-painted barrel shows the classic, normal signs of wear with very light and localized spots of the original paint flaking along the profiles of the rings and on the sharp edges, typical for a vintage optic of this era.

It is functional. Focusing moves smoothly, steadily, and without stiffness.

Part of my collection, which I am currently reorganizing.
