An impressive and richly decorated old cast-iron crucifix standing about 130 cm tall.

The cross features a particularly handsome openwork design with extensive ornamentation. In the center is the figure of Christ, and in the lower part there are two angel figures incorporated. The graceful form and numerous decorative details give the piece a distinctly ecclesiastical and monumental character.

Based on the design, construction, and comparison with similar examples, it appears to be a European, possibly French, cast-iron grave or devotional cross from the 19th century. An exact provenance and dating are not documented and are therefore not stated as definite.

With a height of about 130 cm and a width of about 72 cm, this is a notably large example.
