Side table - Burr walnut, Walnut, Maple, Satinwood, Boxwood - Marquetry side table

Vintage octagonal side table with rich floral marquetry on the top. The inlay decoration combines light and dark woods in a central bouquet with graceful acanthus scrolls along the edge. The small table sits on four elegant, curved cabriole legs. A decorative piece for beside the sofa or chair, in the hallway, or as a plant stand. This type of table is often associated with Italian (Sorrento) marquetry from the 1960s/1970s.
