A beautiful and decorative pair of Art Nouveau/Jugendstil decanters dating from the early 20th century, circa 1900-1910. The decanters are made of cut, greenish glass and feature a richly decorated tin mount. The handles and tin details have a graceful, organic form that is characteristic of the Art Nouveau period. The cut glass provides a lovely play of light. Both decanters form a matching pair and are particularly decorative as part of a collection of antique glassware or Jugendstil objects. Lids at the bottom are numbered 34/3 and 34/16.

Een fraai en decoratief paar Art Nouveau/Jugendstil karaffen, daterend uit het begin van de 20e eeuw, circa 1900-1910.
De karaffen zijn uitgevoerd in geslepen, groenachtig glas en voorzien van een rijk gedecoreerd tinnen montuur.
De handgrepen en tinnen details hebben een sierlijke, organische vorm die kenmerkend is voor de Art Nouveau-periode.
Het geslepen glas zorgt voor een mooie lichtwerking. Beide karaffen vormen een bijpassend paar en zijn bijzonder decoratief als onderdeel van een verzameling antiek glaswerk of Jugenstil-objecten.
