Contessa Piccolette pocket camera, produced in Germany by Contessa-Nettel A.G. (Stuttgart) in the late 1910s to mid-1920s, in good general condition and mechanically tested to be functioning, with its original vertical-opening optical–mechanical block and lenses showing only light vintage patina without deep scratches or fungus, and a metal body with the original black textured finish.
Description from the seller
In stock a classic, robust and fascinating pocket-sized vintage bellows camera: the Contessa-Nettel Piccolette, produced in Germany by the famous Contessa-Nettel A.G. in Stuttgart between the late 1910s and the mid-1920s.
The lot is presented in good general condition, mechanically functional, and is complete with its original optical-mechanical block with vertical aperture.
Optics: The lenses show no scratches deep or traces of mold and internal fungi; only a normal, widespread and light vintage patina due to the decades that have passed, entirely physiological for a piece over a century old of this age, which does not compromise its historical thickness and exquisite charm.
Mechanical: The lot has been tested and is mechanically functional. The central mechanical shutter responds correctly to manual commands.
Aesthetics: Good overall condition, as documented by the detailed photographs. The metal body preserves its original black textured coating with a leatherette-like effect, which shows the classic signs of time and secular age.
International tracked shipping, fully insured and professionally ultra-protective packaging to guarantee maximum safety during transport.
