Description from the seller
This Celtic amulet with religious or magical powers intended to protect, heal, or harm the people it is made for symbolizes the chimney with burning coal.
Talismans have been used in many civilizations throughout history, with connections to astrological, scientific, and religious practices, personal protection for the user, their loved ones or belongings, helping with fertility and aiding crop production.
INTERPRETATION: This Celtic amulet represents the eternal protection of the home and the family. Its main symbol is the burning coal from the Samhain bonfire, a Celtic festival that marked the end of the harvest and where sacred fires were lit as offerings to the gods. The Celts carried coal from that bonfire to their homes as a symbol of protection and good fortune.
The amulet consists of three elements: the burning coal at the top, which symbolizes protective strength; a central circle, which represents eternity; and the image of the home at the bottom. Together, the talisman symbolizes the ongoing protection of the owner, their family and their home.
