Lot of two first-edition photobooks by American photographer Roe Ethridge, both published by MACK.
Sacrifice Your Body — 2014
First edition, 128 pages. Ethridge combines personal documentary photography made in western Palm Beach County with fashion imagery, still lifes, collage and commercial photography. The book deliberately moves between photographic genres and includes 63 colour illustrations. ISBN 978-1-907946-61-5.
Neighbors — 2016
First edition, hardcover, 96 pages with 134 images. Published on the occasion of Ethridge's Nearest Neighbor exhibition in Cincinnati, the book surveys more than fifteen years of his work, mixing family photographs, commissioned imagery, portraits, landscapes, still lifes and photographs of animals. ISBN 978-1-910164-72-3
Condition is very good overall. The interiors are clean and well preserved. Covers and extremities show only light signs of handling/storage consistent with the photographs. No major damage, loose pages or writing observed.
