Description from the seller

Vintage Servomuto Fratelli Reguitti in wood and brass - 1950s/1960s

Bedside/wardrobe Servomuto (dress form) of Italian production, manufactured by the firm Fratelli Reguitti between the late 1950s and early 1960s.
The structure is entirely made of beech solid wood, curved and milled, with a cherry/light walnut finish. On the front crossbar there is the original mark impressed by fire bearing the circular monogram "FR - Brevettato - Made in Italy", which attests to authenticity and craftsmanship.
The item consists of the following components, each dedicated to a specific clothing storage function:
• Upper backrest: Anatomically shaped element designed for placing jackets and shirts to preserve their shape and avoid creases in the fabric.
• Pair of intermediate crossbars: Two parallel cylindrical wooden slats placed under the main backrest, intended to support trousers or skirts.
• Front crossbar, contoured: Horizontal connecting bar at half height, used for placing ties or belts. At the ends it has two through holes that originally accommodated small accessory pins (not included in the lot).
• Lower shoe rack rack: Pair of brownened metal tie rods inserted into the base, designed to hold a pair of footwear keeping them off the ground.
• Base with swivel wheels: Lower support equipped with four original wheels from the period with visible metal hinge, intended to facilitate moving the furniture.
Condition of the item:
The item is structurally intact, stable and free of loose parts at the joints of the hardware. The two tie holders that were screwed onto the pants bar are missing.
The original surface finish shows light and normal signs of wear, small surface scratches and a partial patina of time coherent with its age and ordinary use. The four wheels are functional and smooth-running. The actual conservation state is faithfully documented by the attached photographic set, which constitutes an integral part of this description.
