Heinrich - Coffee service (27) - Porcelain

Splendid and very refined coffee service for 12 people in finest white porcelain, produced by the historic and prestigious German manufactory Heinrich & Co. (Selb, Bavaria).
The mark impressed in cobalt blue under glaze (stylized crown and the words "HEINRICH GERMANY") places the production of this set in the Mid-Century period, precisely between the 1960s and the first half of the 1970s, prior to the factory's acquisition by the Villeroy & Boch group.
The service stands out for its very high quality. The rims and details feature a sumptuous two-tone decorative band: a very fine geometric/floral motif incised in platinum/silver, enclosed by two gold profiles. The handles of the cups and the knobs of the lids are entirely finished in gold. The service is complete with 15 main pieces and is composed as follows:
• 1 large coffee pot with coordinated lid
• 1 sugar bowl with coordinated lid
• 1 milk jug
• 12 coffee cups (Demitasse model)
• 12 matching saucers.
The service is in excellent condition.
The porcelain shows no chips, cracks or crazing. The gilding and the details in real gold are extraordinarily vivid and well preserved (a sign of a set probably used very little and kept as a display piece).
