Old C. Reichert Wien microscope

Monocular antique microscope signed C. Reichert Wien, a renowned Viennese maker of scientific and optical equipment. Model with a black cast-iron frame, nickel-plated metal optical tube, and brass components.

The instrument is equipped with a revolving objective turret, a circular stage with retaining clamps, and an orientable mirror for reflected illumination. Focusing by side knobs. The whole shows a beautiful antique patina, with signs of use and oxidation compatible with its age.

Antique microscope probably datable to the late 19th century or the early 20th century, interesting both as an old scientific instrument and as a collectors’ or decorative object.
