Nightstand - Cherry wood - Pair of Italian mid-century modern bedside tables dating from the 1950s.

Beautiful pair of Italian mid-century modern bedside tables dating from the 1950s, the golden era of design furniture, combining elegance and curved lines inspired by Mid-Century style. They feature a warm veneer of precious cherry wood with a glossy finish that highlights the wood’s vertical grain. The furniture is enhanced by a refined contoured top, completed by protective back-glass surfaces tinted in mustard/bronze, typical of Italian productions of the era. The mirrored front doors open with elegant central brass inlaid handles. The nightstands are supported by four shaped brackets and conical legs ending in brass-topped feet (studs), a hallmark of designer-style like Paolo Buffa or of Cantù high cabinetry productions. These bedside tables are highly sought after by collectors and vintage enthusiasts, increasingly difficult to find in pairs and in these very good condition on the markets.
