Tintin, Le Petit Vingtième - le petit "vingtième" - 1 Comic - First Belgian edition - 1931/1931

Beautiful announcement illustration for Tintin in America by Hergé in this issue of Petit Vingtième dated August 6, 1931, issue number 32. Overall good condition for a non-trimmed issue, not bound-in, with the spine and the first pages yellowed and torn for the most part, and fragile with subtle tape reinforcements. A 95-year-old copy in one of those 1931 issues which are very hard to find nowadays. The photos will give you an overview of the journal’s overall condition.

With cover and two pages illustrated by Hergé for a tale, as well as two plates featuring Quick and Flupke.
Rare copy with early masterworks by the author.
