Yamaha TX-592RDS AM/FM Stereo RDS Component, year of manufacture 1990, physical condition good and functional condition tested and working.
Description from the seller
Yamaha TX-592RDS precision quartz PLL synthesizer AM/FM stereo tuner with Radio Data System, designed and built by Yamaha Corporation (circa 1998–2002). Technically in 100% good, fully functional condition with fast, stable transmitter locking and clear reception; visually in neat condition with light signs of use appropriate to its age.
Within Yamaha's renowned component lines from this period, the TX-592RDS is designed to integrate seamlessly with amplifiers from the AX series (such as the AX-592 and AX-892). The tuner uses Yamaha’s proven Direct Linear Reception Circuitry (DLRC), which guarantees an ultra-linear signal path with minimal intermodulation distortion and high channel separation. Thanks to the extensive RDS system, program service (PS), radio text (RT), program type (PTY), and current clock time are displayed crisply on the clear matrix display.
Sonically, the unit delivers an open, calm, and natural radio presentation with low background noise. For difficult reception locations, the switchable IF bandwidth (Auto/Wide/Narrow) and the advanced Absolute Linear Tracking (ALT) technology allow even weaker stations to be pulled in cleanly next to strong interference signals. With memory for 40 preferred stations, organized into flexible groups, the tuner offers maximum ease of use.
