Superscope, Marantz - R-310 -serviced- Solid state stereo receiver

The Superscope R-310 is a distinctive Quadraphase receiver from 1974, featuring a wooden cabinet, an aluminum front panel, and the distinctive illuminated analog tuner.

What makes this model special is the Superscope Quadraphase system, which allows four loudspeakers to be used for a spatial sound image. A typical 1970s concept from the era when quadraphonic audio was rapidly developing.

The receiver features a built-in FM/MW tuner, a phono input for a turntable, a line input, and tape connections. The combination of the classic design, the Quadraphase functionality, and the Superscope/Marantz history makes this an especially interesting device.
