Description from the seller
Beautiful 1960s/1970s wooden easel in beech, walnut-stained, from the well-known Italian company Maimeri; I suppose the model is M29. Painter's wooden easel, an adjustable stand used by artists to support the canvas or panel during the creation of a work.
The logo visible in the close-up is Maimeri’s, a historic Italian company founded in 1923 by Gianni Maimeri, specializing in paints and accessories for the fine arts.
Main Features
Structure: Made of air-dried beech wood with a mortise-and-tenon mechanism and a brass-toned metal butterfly nut, allowing height adjustment of the support for the canvas.
Use: This type of easel is common both in art studios and for displaying finished works in galleries or private homes.
Design: The logo heat-stamped and the hardware indicate a product of quality, typical of classic professional-grade production. Very light and easily portable. Maximum height: adjustable to about 185 cm when fully extended. Minimum height from the ground: about 85–90 cm (can be used while seated).
Closed footprint: extremely compact, with a length of about 85–90 cm and a width/thickness of about 10 x 10 cm, ideal for transport.
