This unique light object "Bloom" BLACK & WHITE was designed in a Berlin design studio and 3D printed in a computational process.
The pendant lamps are made of a matte black-and-white biopolymer based on corn starch and are biodegradable / environmentally friendly according to DIN EN ISO 14588. The material is sturdy, waterproof, and easy to clean.
Each 3-D print has a necessary, fine, and visible seam that holds the object together.
The design casts a shadow from bottom to top, resulting in a play of colors (see photos).
